Welcome to SDC Children's Ministry.
Our program has a clear vision of success as we strive to raise kids who live meaningful lives, and develop a heart to become servants of God. It is never too early to instill a sense of destiny in our children and make them mighty for God. The Bible says "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Success with our vision begins with God providing the right volunteers, and He has done just that! Kids are greatly influenced by adults who believe in them, and encourage them in a Godly way. Our leaders are positive, welcoming, and sincere. They are comitted to finding the best way to reach and teach children. It is an incredible privilege to represent Jesus to this young generation. We value every child, and believe that they deserve our best.
Modeling what it means to be a follower of Jesus is our main objective. We have a fun-filled ministry, with the entire time being committed to Christ-themed activities and lessons. Our desire is to help the kids develop a love for God and to serve Him with a passion and zeal, and realizing their spiritual gifts while they are still young.
Our volunteers serve with great joy and a commitment to raise the kids up with a strong christian influence. The message of the Bible is powerful and effective - the same yesterday, today and forever. Our focus is on teaching in a way that is relevant to our kids, without detracting from the power of the gospel! We strive to ensure that kids leave with a personal application of a Bible truth, so that they can see that God's word is written for them and can be applied to their lives.
